Faith proves itself by works...

James 2:14-19
14What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if people claim to have faith but have no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good!
19Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

Faith is more than an intellectual belief in GOD. If that belief does not produce righteousness and mercy, it is not a saving faith. Here in the book of James it gives 3 arguments in support of this truth---
1-Faith without works is no better than words without deeds.
2-Faith can be neither seen or verified unless it shows itself in works.
3-Even the demons have an intellectual belief in GOD, but it does not lead to their salvation.

Faith proves itself by works...Works don't earn you salvation.
By serving GOD we cannot earn our salvation, but such serving just shows that our heart and love to GOD is real.
Salvation always changes your life to good "works/deeds"....that's faith.

In His Name
GOD bless you and yours....
