Happy Birthday JESUS! 2010 2of3

BIRTH OF JESUS  Matthew 1:18-25
This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."
When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

Happy Birthday JESUS!! 2010 1of3

this-is-my-beloved-sonIt is that time of year when we celebrate our LORD's birth. I hear people all the time, including myself saying "JESUS is the reason for the season", which is true, BUT JESUS is the reason for every season. We should not only remember Him this one time of year. We should be every day of every year!!   I pray and hope you do.

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR EVERY SEASON!!

Happy Birthday JESUS!!

GOD knows who to use.....

Exodus 4:10
Then Moses said to the LORD, Please, LORD, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.

When GOD called moses to be His spokesman to Pharaoh and the Israelites, Moses claimed that he wasn't eloquent enough to do what GOD asked him to do.
AND
In verse 11 GOD response, Who made man's mouth?...Is it not I, the LORD?

God will be your mouth piece. He will teach you what to say and do as long as He has lead you, then do not fear GOD KNOWS WHO TO USE......

If GOD leads you to it, He is going lead you through it.Tell others about JESUS!!

Be You!!

1Corinthians 15:41
The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their glory.

GOD has created us to be different from one another; and He has done it on purpose. He made us to be part of his overall plan; basically we all meet a need to glorify him and his kingdom.
Don't try to be someone else, be you(The person GOD made).
Look, When we stand before GOD He is not going to ask you "why you were not like Johnny-do?"
And I know you and I both don't want him to ask us "why weren't you, you?"
I want to hear Him say "well done, good and faithful servant."

Matthew 25:23
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.

John 10:10
....I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Lean on GOD, enjoy life he gave you - than one day we will enjoy the eternal life He died to give us.

GOD wants us to enjoy life. Don't sweat the small stuff - lean and trust in GOD and enjoying knowing He has it handled.

Family Reunion

Hello, hope everyone is trying to stay warm. It is so cold outside but beautiful. I have a feeling we are going to get a massive snow storm by the end of the Winter Season. YAY, maybe.

Yesterday my family and I went up to North Ga. about a 3-31/2 hour drive according who is driving. We all rode in my sister's van and bil drove and of course we got pulled over, haha, but thank GOD he just got a warning the State Patrol officer was so sweet, very nice guy. Anyway so with him driving we made it there in 3 hours, lol.
We had a good time being together, with my family you know it is going to be a funny trip! We all really enjoy seeing my grandmaw(Dad's mom) and spending time with her. We don't get to often because of the distanced. She looked great, but you can really tell she is getting slower physically and mentally. But she still cracked me up, she is a trip herself. I love her so much.
We ate lunch at the beach house with her side of the family like we do every year at this time, so needless to say my sister and I really don't know everyone because, hey, once a year well, you know. Now my great uncles they are so funny I have fun talking to some of them, love them a lot. So, all in all we all had a great trip and great memories made.

I thank GOD for my family and being able to see my grandmaw and her side of the family. I love them all to much. GOD is truly wonderful.

**I thought I would share that with you all, But please come back for the Bible Study Blog, will be posted later today.**

Freedom Free?

Good afternoon, it is such a beautiful chilly day GOD has made, and I am loving it!!

passion-of-the-christI thank GOD for our freedom in this Country. And all the military men and women that are fighting for us to have it. So many have lost their lives for freedom here on Earth.

But know JESUS was the ultimate sacrifice for our eternal freedom. Without His perfect sacrifice He freely gave we would all be headed for Hell.
JESUS hung on the Cross seeing our faces, He suffered so we could live eternally with Him in Heaven.
All we have to do is freely accept JESUS as our Saviour and ask Him in our hearts to live......

So is Freedom Free For Eternally?
YES it is, because JESUS paid it ALL on the cross. Past,Present, and future sins are covered by the blood of JESUS! AMEN!!

Storms.....purpose and responds......

Good afternoon!

We will all go through storms/Tribulation, if we are not currently now. There is a purpose for them and there is how we respond during and after......

Purpose: GOD is testing you and molding you(your character, morals, faith, etc.) through them. Getting you ready for His plan. I believe sometimes He will test you on one thing just to get you ready or see if you are ready  to start something(missionary work, Sunday school teacher, etc.). Or he may be preparing you for a bigger test you will have to go through. He has a purpose! Hey, He maybe seeing how you will react(testing your faith).

Responds: When people go through storms in life they either do 2 things, 1 run to GOD or 2 run away from GOD. Of course as Christans' we will say we would run to GOD, I believe most Christians would. But when the storm has passed what do we do.......well again 2 things, 1 Run to GOD(Praise GOD) or 2 Run away from GOD(forget GOD).

*I pray and hope during the storms in life that you realize GOD has a purpose for them and we need to Run to GOD during and after them.*And know GOD is there for you ALWAYS*

Sometimes in order to see a rainbow we have to walk through some rain! And the best part about being a Christian is that Jesus will hold your umbrella

Romans 5: 3-8
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

-So we can thank GOD during our storms, trails. He is molding us to be what He wants us to be.

RUN TO GOD NOT AWAY!!

The Bible....

The Bible...It's the Word of GOD, a love letter from Him to us, a instruction manual in and for our lives.

I have a good example of how important the Bible is in a Christian's life. Just as football players have playbooks to know what to do on the field against their opponent, well the Bible is there for christians to know what to do in life against our opponent, the Devil. So I guess it is our playbook, :)
If we as christians are not in GOD's Word daily then how do we know what we should do and not do.
What play? Can you imagine a pro football player not reading and studying his playbook for a game and how lost he would be. Just the one player can ruin it for the whole team. And the Christian life is the same way.

Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

-Renewing of your mind means know and using the Word of GOD. And then you will know what GOD would have of you.

Psalms 1:2-3
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

-Meditate on the Word of GOD day and night and we will be strong in the LORD and daily living against the Devil. Then be able to tell others.....

The Bible is GOD's Holy Word, a love letter left to us. Praise His name and thank GOD for his word he gave us, without it how lost we would be....What love he shows......

That is the way it seems...

Good Day to all! I have not been able to blog lately due to computer being turned off to paint. But I am bbbbaaaccckkk!!!

Have you ever had your feelings hurt so bad and then kinda blurt out and tell someone else how you feel and it some how get put right back on you like it is your fault. Well that is what is going on with me here recently it seems. I mean someone is so mean to me, and people don't know the 1/2 of it and when I mention just one thing they done to me it blows all up like in my face, like it my fault or something. Oh well. GOD knows and He knows how I been regardless and that is all that matters, when I say I am a Christian ~ I also act like it!!
Sometimes honestly I feel like no one loves me. I know Jason(my hubby) does and GOD, but other then that no one. I know that is enough because.....

GOD's love is unchanging.

Malachi 3:6
For I am the LORD, I do not change.

Real love, GOD's love is the same all the time; it never changes. IT JUST IS!!
I am able to admit that I have not yet arrived in this area of unconditional love for me; but I certainly want to learn more about it. As humans beings it seems we are ever changing, and we must learn to be more stable in GOD's love. Stability must be worked in our lives. As we go through storms and around mountains again and again in life, we need not let them upset us, Knowing GOD's love is unchanging, unconditional  and helps us become stable during those periods.
I am working on this being the storm I am going through now and having to move around a mountain.

Don't throw it back.

Good morning!

I know we all had a time in our life where someone would gossip about us to others, or they would gossip to us about someone else. Either way don't throw it back. What I mean is when others gossip about you don't start gossiping against them, just talk to GOD about it or if someone is gossiping about another person then walk away. I know it is hard, believe me I know. I am still working on this myself with the LORD's help.

Psalms 57:4
My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

Verbal cruelty can damage us or others badly as physical abuse. Rather than throwing back more unacceptable talk, we, like David, can quietly talk with GOD about the problem.

Words we speak....

Good day to all!!

I felt lead to share something, that most of you know. I am a talker, I have a lot to say. Some things are pointless and stupid, but other times they have a value. GOD is dealing with me and how much I talk, I am taking it day by day. I fail most days, but I know GOD picks me up and forgives me and I try, try again.
So, I said all that to say this I believe we all need to watch what we say(yes, including me - remember I am working on it). Things we say can hurt people if we don't think about them first before we speak them. And if you thought about the words and spoke them anyways or if you don't care either way then that is just evil.

Proverbs 15:28
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

-Now, I don't believe that is saying well don't talk because what your talking about is not important. It is saying study(think) about what you say before you just pour our your words to be evil against someone else.
Basically watch what you say, don't hurt others, it is evil and wicked.

Proverbs 10:19
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refrainth his lips is wise.

-What I believe this is saying is, If someone is talking "smack" to you, refrain your words you say to them.
LORD, help me on this. Amen.

Proverbs 16:23
The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addth learning to his lips.

-Basically the wise teach their mouth to"button it" and at which point we can listen and learn.

Words we speak......
Should be uplifting, encouraging, loving, helpful, kind, glorifying the LORD!!

GOD bless you and yours......

Faith = Free......

Good Monday!!!

Faith = Freedom
But Freedom.....
  • To know by Faith your saved.
  • From doubt.
  • From worry.
  • From anxiety.
  • From fear.
  • To know all our needs will be met.
  • To know our prayers are heard.
  • To know The LORD stands with us.
  • To know the blood covers us.
  • In relationships.
  • To show/share our Faith
  • To please GOD through our FAITH.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:6
And it is impossible to please God without faith.
Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and
that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Romans 1:17
The just shall live by faith.

Watch out when your Familiar.

Good Day to all!! I hope your Thanksgiving was as wonderful as mine. I even made it through black Friday.lol

When you become familiar with something sometimes it is easy to take it for granted or even disrespect it.
Familiarity can breed contempt, disrespect, etc. For example take how someone treats a new car. They admire it, wash it all the time, and keeps it clean inside and out. But what happens when that car has been around a few years? They never wash it, they allow people to eat and smoke in it. So needless to say hamburger wrappers in the floor in the back. What happened? They become to familiar with the car and took it for granted.
Look, the same things happen in friendships, marriage, and yes, even the Christian life.
Don't allow your familiarity with your friend, spouse and the LORD make you lose respect for them and take them for granted. Yes, they will always be there for you - DON'T let what is special become mundane. To help not take them for granted remember how special they are to you. And, mainly remember what JESUS done on the cross and never lose sight of that.

1Thessalonians 5:18
Thank GOD in everything, for this is the will of GOD for you in Christ JESUS.

John 7:5
Even His own brothers, who lived with Him day in and day out, did not believe in Him! It is almost unbelievable that someone living with God would not recognize—would not see—Him as God!
^                                                                                  ^
^Even here you see familiarity that lead to contemptment^Don't do it. Even the Bible shows how it can be wrong, guard your heart and people and the LORD with love and thankfulness.

Thankful for...HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Well it is that time, Happy Thanksgiving to all!! Remember when you sit at the table to eat with your family and friends give thanks and pray for those who are hurting and struggling right now.

ThanksgivingA Thanksgiving Prayer
Oh, GOD when I have food help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work, help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a warm home, help me to remember the homeless;
When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer;
And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency
and bestir my compassion.
Make me concerned enough to help, by word and deed, to those who cry
out for what we take for granted.   --Samuel Pugh

Thank you my LORD for ALL your blessings on me!
Count your blessings, name them one by one - Count your blessings, see what GOD has done!!

    Psalm 95:1-6
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great GOD, and a great KING above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Thankful for.....Day 6

Good Morning!!

WoW already on Day 6. Man, time flies(when your having fun!!). Thanksgiving is almost here - Hope everyone remembers all GOD has blessed them with and to be thankful. There is so many hurting right now, so please pray for people.
Be thankful for what you got, but remember those who don't got!!

I am Thankful for:

The beauty of what GOD made. Each day I look around at the beautiful weather(rain or no rain) and hear the birds and other animals, but sometimes we get in a hurry and forget to thank GOD for his masterpiece. GOD truly amazes me. I mentioned the birds because that is one of my favorite things to do is watch the birds. And in the Bible GOD even mentions to watch them.
Thank you LORD for allowing me to look around and see the masterpiece you have made and to hear/watch the animals you created. LORD you amaze me everyday!! I love you!!

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Psalm 104:24-25
How many are your works, O Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number-living things both large and small.
John1:3
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Thankful for.....Day 5

Ok day 5 of what I am thankful for in honor of the Thanksgiving Season. I have so much to be thankful for hard to decide what to choose each day...

I am Thankful for:

All my wonderful friends! But I want to mention some by name: My sister Jodie, she is not only my sister she is always my bff. Tammy is the one who got my into church and is always there for me, I am so proud of her going to school and finishing her nursing degree with 4 kids WOW amazing!! Carly who keeps me laughing all the time. Jamie who is always busy but we always will be bff. Mindy and Heather I put them together because us three are unseparable, we been together for yearrrrrrs even if we don't see each other as much as we like. Each of these girl are amazing women, funny, loving, beautiful inside and out. I love each of you so very much!! Y'all are the other side of my Velcro.....lol

Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Proverbs 18:24
There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 17:17
A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.

So instead of saying "I got to go to church" we need to be saying "I get to go to church". AMEN!!

Thankful for......Day 2

Good Morning all, what a beautiful day GOD has made!!!
So, I am going to continue to blog what I am thankful each day til Thanksgiving. That being said......

I am Thankful for:

My family!! GOD has truly blessed me with the best husband any women could dream of, I love him more then life itself, he is the reason I want to wake up everyday. Wonderful parents that are funny and loving - they are wonderful, I love them so much and a sister who keeps me on my toes in a good way sometimes haha loving her is easy. My In-laws, yes in-laws, people think I am crazy when I say I love my in-laws, yes we had our moments, but they are special to me, I consider them my mom and dad #2. My brother and sister inlaw as well, they are to themself a lot and we would love to be closer to them but they are sweet and I love them too. My new niece Claire-Bear, she is a living doll, I already love her. My mawmaw and pawpaw, I miss having talks with my mawmaw but I am thankful she is still "here" loving them is the best and so easy. My grandmaw who I don't see very often but still love dearly. All my cousins, they are great and I consider most of them my best friends, Love all you so much. Aunt Elaine and Uncle Donnie I know they are always there for me and I love them.
See how much GOD has blessed me!! Man, I am so thankful for each family member that makes up my big, crazy family!!! I love you all so much!!!

Ephesians 5:33
However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Joshua 24:15
choose for yourselves whom you will serve.. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.

Love don't rejoice at injustice.

1Corinthians 13:6
It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.

I couple weeks ago here in the county where I live a young man was beat to death by four other young "boys"(they are not men) for no good reason. Well, the reason they gave was one of the "boys" was hit by a girl and so not to hit her he was going to hit the next guy who came by, well we know how that turned out, a scentless death.

Love is grieved at injustice. It is always wants what is fair and right. It craves justice not only for itself but especially for others. I don't like to see people mistreated, but that night he was being beaten to death, over 50 other boys and girls watch and done nothing to help.

We should care about others and their pain, pray for them, and do what we can to relieve their suffering. So, please pray for the family of this young man who died.

Love is not unfeeling, it can't look at unjust situations and just simply not care or do nothing. The worldly mentality of "don't bother me with it, that is your problem" has no place in the heart or lives of Christians.
Obviously, we cannot physically or financially fix everyone's problem, but we can care and try.
We need to work with the Holy Spirit to make sure we don't allow our hearts to become hardened by all the violence and injustice all around us.

GOD is love!!

Keep walking in love, hating injustice and unrighteousness, and the favor of GOD will come upon your life in an astounding way.

*I believe if just one of those kids standing by would of had some love in their heart they would of helped in  any way they could of. And maybe others would of followed or may not BUT in the end we could be talking about a hero not a death!!*

GOD bless you and yours.....

More then we deserve. Part 4 and final.

YAY, I am back and feeling so much better!!

Part 4 on More than we deserve. I believe is the best one yet because it all about what JESUS done.

The religious leaders wanted JESUS killed and got their wish.
John 11:53
Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

But, JESUS was willing to die for us to take our sins upon himself. Which is more then we deserve.
But/Also, JESUS not only died for us ~~~~ HE ROSE from the dead! He conquered death and the victory was won. Which is way more then we deserve.

John 20:1-18
1 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. 2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. 9 (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) 10 Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.
11 Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb 12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” 14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.

More then we deserve. Part 3

Good day to all!!

Ok, Part 3 on GOD's Word showing us he gives more then we deserve.
The disciples thought the crowd should be sent home because there was no food, BUT JESUS used a small meal to feed thousands, and there were leftovers!

John 6:1-15
1After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
2And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
3And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
4And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.
5When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
7Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
8One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,
9There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
12When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
14Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
15When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

JESUS always does MORE, never put Him in a small box, well never put Him in a box because He will always go beyond what you think, DESERVE, or understand.

More then we deserve. Part 2

Hello guys and gals!!

We all know or should know that GOD blesses us more then we will ever deserve. The disciples were expecting an ordinary day of fishing, but GOD blessed them with more fish then they really could handle and more importantly they found the SAVIOR.

Luke 5:1-11

1 While the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennes'aret.
2 And he saw two boats by the lake; but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.
3 Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
4 And when he had ceased speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."
5 And Simon answered, "Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets."
6 And when they had done this, they enclosed a great shoal of fish; and as their nets were breaking,
7 they beckoned to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
8 But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord."
9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the catch of fish which they had taken;
10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zeb'edee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; henceforth you will be catching men."
11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him.

See the disciples were bless more then they deserved. Just like us.

Easy like Sunday :)

What a :) Sunday!!

God allowed me another day!! I went to church to worship Him. So thankful we are still able to go to His house freely.
Pastor preached a wonderful message and the choir did a wonderful job as well.

So, we planned on after lunch to rest and relax then return to the evening service, but the devil put a damper on that because Jason's work called him in and he had to work and did not get off until after 9pm. :(

But, GOD willing and and the creek don't rise Wednesday we will be there.

More then we deserve. Part 1

 Hello!!

You know we should always expect a blessing from GOD, because that is who he is, But GOD always does more then I expect or/and more then I deserve.

Take the Man in Mark2:1-12 He was looking for to be healed, But JESUS also forgave his sins.
JESUS always does more then we deserve.

Mark 2:1-12
1 And when he returned to Caper'na-um after some days, it was reported that he was at home. 2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, not even about the door; and he was preaching the word to them. 3 And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. 4 And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him; and when they had made an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic lay. 5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven." 6 Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, 7 "Why does this man speak thus? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" 8 And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you question thus in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise, take up your pallet and walk'? 10 But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins" --he said to the paralytic-- 11 "I say to you, rise, take up your pallet and go home." 12 And he rose, and immediately took up the pallet and went out before them all; so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"In His NameGOD bless you and yours......

Does GOD really hear our prayers?........

Hello to all!!

I once had someone ask me if GOD really hears our prayers. And of course I said yes, but we always need to tell others exactly what GOD actually says about certain things they are asking us.
So, Does GOD really hear our prayers?

Psalm 6:9"The Lord has heard my supplication, The Lord receives my prayer."
There you go according to GOD's Word - HE DOES!!! Praise His Holy Name!!!

Let It Goooooooooooooo......

Good Morning, it's cold outside but I got in nice and toasty inside:)!

How many times have you had problems with someone and you think your over it, but then they do it again and/or hurt your feelings again, well it gets hard to keep letting it go after it is done to you so many times. GOD's Word helped me and I hope it with help you if you are going through something like this too.

Matthew 5:39
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Matthew 18:22
"Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."

Thus, each time the person hurts you, take it to the Lord and forgive, because this is what the Lord expects of you.

GOD tells us to continue to forgive no matter how many times someone has hurt you. I know it is hard, believe me I know. The LORD is dealing with me on this one as well, and I am just trying to do my best. Pray for me that I will just let it go and do what GOD wants me to do.
I hope this helped you like it did me(if you are going through it).

Cast In...

Good Morning to all!

Mark 12:41-44 Talks about a poor widow and how she gave all she had.
41And JESUS sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
42And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in 2 mites, which make a farthing.
43And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, then all they which have cast into the treasury:
44For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

In GOD's eyes, the poor widow gave more than all the others, because she gave all she had and with a generous heart. The value of the gift is not the amount but the spirit and heart in which it is given. And people who given for recognition it just loses value.
When you give to the LORD in tithes give with a happy, given heart for the LORD not for recognition. GOD looks at the heart not the amount.

Good voting day to all!!

Don't forget to VOTE, but first remember to PRAY!!!

I believe that how we vote we will be judged by our LORD. Reason I believe that, if you vote for a man or women that believes in abortion and gay marriage or any other god's other then the TRUE GOD, then you say you believe in that. Get in GOD's Word and read what he says about that or go to the Bible Blogs posted, they have GOD's word in them.

GOD's Patiences

Good Morning!!

Romans 2:4
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of GOD leadeth thee to repentance?

It is easy to mistake GOD's patience for approval of the wrong way we are living. Self-evaluation is difficult that is for sure. I had to take a hard look at myself and my life and realize my sins and repent. Thank GOD he is so forgiving. As christians we must pray constantly that GOD will point out our sins, so that he can heal them.
GOD is so patience with us, could even imagine what would happen he was not.

So, remember GOD is patience with us, but that does not mean he approves of our sins.

Just A Prayer Away

Good Morning!!

We have all done things that are wrong, and we have failed to obey GOD's laws. Because of this we have been separated from GOD our Creator. Separation from GOD is death; but, by ourselves, we can do nothing to become united with GOD.
JESUS was not only a man; he was GOD's son. Because JESUS never disobeyed GOD and never sinned, only he can bridge the gap between the sinless GOD and sinful mankind.
JESUS freely offered his life for us, dying on the cross in our place, taking all our wrongdoing upon himself, and saving us from the consequences of sin--including GOD's judgement and death.
JESUS took our past, present, and future sins upon himself so that we could have new life. Because all our wrongdoing is forgiven, we are reconciled to GOD. And, JESUS resurrection from the dead is the proof that his sacrifice on the cross was acceptable to GOD, and his resurrection has become the source of new life for whoever believes that JESUS is the Son of GOD. All who believe in him may have this new life and live it union with him. Eternal life with JESUS is just a prayer away....

Romans 5:8
But GOD commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us.

Romans 10:13
For whosoever call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.

JESUS PAID IT ALL,  ALL TO HIM WE OWE!! SIN HAS LEFT US A STAIN, BUT JESUS WASHED IT WHITE AS SNOW!!

Thank you LORD!!

The Temptations

Good Saturday Morning All!

As most of you know in Matthew it talks about Satan tempting JESUS in the wilderness. Well, he is gonna tempt us too so here are 3ways he does that, and I will coincide them to what JESUS went through....

First way Satan will tempt us is by a Physical Need, he tempted JESUS by telling him to turn stones into bread for food knowing JESUS was hungry after fasting 40days and 40nights.

Second way is by an Emotional Need, Satan tempted JESUS this way by tell him cast himself down to see if GOD would protect him.

Now the Third way is Psychological Need, Satan took JESUS up on the mountains and show him the kingdom and said if he would bow down to him he would give it all to him(Satan really could not anyways, we know he is lair).

See Satan knew JESUS was at a time in the wilderness fasting 40days and 40nights and he was hungry, tried, well let just say he was at a weak point(JESUS was (sinless) human) and that is what Satan does to us he knows when we are weak and going through stuff physically, emotionally and psychologically and he will build on that. BUT we need to be like JESUS he told Satan to get away and he DID NOT fall into temptation. So know Satan is attacking by getting into GOD's Word and call him off through it.

Poor Libby

Hello Everyone!

Today I had to take my baby(cat) Libby to the doctor. She has a bad UTI and peeing blood. So sad you can just tell she don't feel good. But, what is amazing is how GOD let me see that she was sick and how he used her to tell me as well. What I mean is, I have 4 babies(cats) and it is hard to know who did what in the litter box, not going any farther with that one:), anyways Libby is our non-verbal baby so when I was scooping the litter this morning @6:30am, she sat down there with me going to each one after I scooped it and looking at me, so I would go right behind her and scoop but nothing would be there, so I looked at her and said what is going on with you and she start meowing but it was a meow like she was telling me something and not a normal "cat long meow" it was broke up like words(I know I am crazy...crazy for my cat babies). Needless to say I call the doctor they fitted me in and she on meds. 2x's a day. SO, PLEASE PRAY FOR HER AND THAT SHE WILL FEEL BETTER AND GET WELL AND NEVER HAVE THIS AGAIN. Thanks to my mil for riding with me and putting up with me today, thank GOD for her too!!

But wanted to share how GOD let me know - he loves all his creation even the the four legged.

Woes, Woes.....

The 7 Woes

JESUS mentioned 7 ways to anger GOD, often called "7 woes".

  • Not letting others enter the Kingdom of Heaven and not entering yourselves
  • Converting people away from GOD
  • Blindly leading GOD's people to follow man-made traditions instead of GOD's Word
  • Involving yourself in insignificant details and ignoring what is really important: Justice, Mercy, Faith
  • Keeping up appearances while your private world is corrupt
  • Acting spiritual to cover sins
  • Pretending to have learned from the past history, but your present behavior shows you have learned nothing

There is more to it....

Good Morning all!! GOD is amazing as always, I woke up this morning :)!

We are, more often than not, guilty of avoiding the extreme sins while regularly committing the types of sins with which JESUS was most concerned.

Five examples of extreme sins but there is more to it....

1-Murder, but we must also avoid anger and hatred.
2-Sacrifices, we need to have a right relationship with GOD and others. Give(tithe) with a cheerful heart.
3-Adultery, it is easy to avoid that, but also we need to keep our hearts from lusting and be faithful.
4-Be legally married, that's one thing but we need to live out our marriage commitments and vows. Divorce is way to common now days.
5-Revenge, I think we all have thought about getting someone back,(I said thought about, lol), but GOD says show mercy and love to others.

^All this can be found in the book of Matthew in chapter 5^

Now there we see extreme sin, but remember there more to it than just that,
Are you living as JESUS taught??

In Every Way.....

Good Morning!! We sure needed this rain!

We should want to please GOD in every way of our lives. But have you ever thought about really what is "in every way?"  Maybe verse 14 in Psalms 19 will help you like it helped me.

Psalms 19:14
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in they sight oh LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

David was saying he desired that his words and actions and even his thoughts would please GOD.
We should desire that as well. I believe that is the "in every way" that GOD is looking for.
Focus on pleasing GOD with your words, actions and thoughts and lets throw one more in the mix, how about our reactions, well thats maybe considered actions but I am going to include that one as well.
Pray and GOD will give you strength and a desire.

LORD,
May all my words, actions, reactions, and even my thoughts be pleasing to you. Help me to be more attentive to these, that I will be lifting up your name in every way of my life. Amen

How bout you 40years or a few weeks?

What you may or may not know about the Israelites and their journey to the Promise Land.
And
Is it going to take us 40 years to get where we are to be?

The Israelites were in Egypt. There was about 1million of them all together. Moses, Aaron and Joshua led them. Their purpose was to reclaim the Promise Land. They had many obstacles such us the Red Sea, Desert, and their enemies. But GOD seen them through all of them. The Israelites still had failures, they complained, they were disobedient. Even though GOD was with them every step of the way and did miracles to help them along. So, the journey that should of took a few weeks took them into 40 year epic.
They eventually made it!

Don't let set backs and start complaining hither your journey with the LORD. Don't let something that only takes a few days or weeks take you into 40 years. Know GOD is with you and press on. Look above!

12 People called WISE...

5- David was also called wise leader. Never let his failures keep him down. He seeked GOD and his forgiveness.

7- Soloman was also another one called wised leader. He knew what to do even though he did not put his own wisdom into action.

Go tell......everyone!

Jesus gives the Great Commission in
Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Who do we tell and what do we tell?
Well, lets look at the verse.....
GOD said go into ALL THE WORLD and peach to EVERY CREATURE(everyone) that He paid their penalty for sin and that those who believe in Him can be forgiven and live eternally with GOD.

We may not all be preachers, but GOD still tells us to go and tell others about him.

So lets go out and tell others about CHRIST!! No matter their age, color, gender, etc....

I know I have failed in being a witness for my Saviour, LORD forgive me.

Don't offend the little ones

Matthew 18:6
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Wow!
Children are trusting by nature. They trust everyone. So importantly they trust GOD and their faith grows. Which GOD tells us to do the same(yesterday's blog) anyways, Being that children are so trusting verse 6 tells us if any adult (Parents, Grandparents, Aunt/Uncle, Teachers, etc..) should steer them away from GOD and their faith that person will be severely punished.
We should be encouraging children to seek and live for GOD. Helping them in their christian walk. Building them up to do great and mighty things in the LORD's name.

So asking you these questions, Are you offending or not offending?!? Are so encouraging or not encouraging?!? Are you going to be severely punished or not?!?

Seriously, we need to be leading children in the ways of the LORD - look at world around you and what these children are facing now days, it so scary.

Are you Childish or Childlike?!?

Matthew 18:1-5
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. “Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “And whoever receives one such child in My name receives me."

The disciples argued about who would be the greatest. They lost their focus, as do we if we are not careful. They were being childish.
So JESUS used a child as an example showing them and us that we should be childlike having faith and trusting as a child. Not trying to uplift ourselves and be #1.

Childish: Auguring over petty issues, trying to be better then others. Self-Centered.

Childlike: Humble, trusting. Wanting to learn with a sincere heart.

So are you being Childish or Childlike??

*come back tomorrow for verse 6*

Today's Worship Service

We had the Lord's Supper this morning at church. I love it when we do. We should remember everyday what the LORD has done for us but it is just something with you partake it Communion. It really puts you in touch with the LORD. To me also it is a time to really observe myself and confess any sins that I am harboring, so I did then partook.
But what really bites my bullet at myself after having a great service, confessing to GOD and taking in the Lord's Supper. I could not even make it through the rest of the day without sinning. LORD I am sorry.
I know I am not perfect, just forgiven. Thank GOD!!! 1John1:9
