How do you deal with you "enemies", well I should say someone who seems to dislike you and don't treat you so well? I always wondered this growing up. My mom told me kill them with kindness but stick up for myself at the same time. Others would say ignore them and not have nothing to do with them. And then there is the be mean back approach, which is not my favorite and something I personally could never do. As I look back what does "kill them with kindness" even mean really?!?
Well, I have the answer. YES!! It was right in the Word of GOD. .......
HUMILITY!
Humility means the quality of being modest or respectful. Meekness is another word for Humility.
Psalms 37:11
But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace.
Humility or meekness hardly seems the proper weapon to deal with "enemies". But there is a lot of verses in GOD's Word that says it is. GOD also promises a reward for those with humble attitudes.
Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
We all have someone in our life now or in the past who don't like us and lets face it they show us that by the way the treat us. How we react and our attitude toward that person is what we need to focus on not the person but ourselves. So I think my mom was right on the "kill them with kindness" way of dealing with those types of people (thanks mom). And thank GOD He left us His word for everyday life and situations we have in this life.
So to conclude, treat others how you want to be treated regardless of how they treat you. Kill them with kindness, Be humble, meek and the reward will be great. It is not the world's way of doing it but is GOD's and that is the best way!
Here are a very other verse you can look up on Humility/meekness:
Psalms 149:4
Proverbs 3:34
Proverbs 16:18-19
Proverbs 22:4
John 5:44
Romans 12:3
Micah 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Judge yourself
1 Corinthians 4:5
Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
It is tempting to judge a fellow christian, evaluating whether or not he or she is a good follower of Christ. But only GOD knows a person's heart, and He is the only one with right to judge. Paul's warning to the Corinthians should also warn us. We are to help those are sinning(5:12,13), but we must not judge who is a better servant for Christ. When you judge someone, you automatically consider yourself better, and this is pride.
Now we can never say we never judged someone, if you say you never have then add liar to your list also. But GOD forgives, and we to need to take heed of what Paul was stating in the above verse. Don't/ Try not to judge others but for real we should not judge fellow Christians - we are all sinners saved by grace.
.
Not saying I sit there judge everyone and actually I don't judge people, but I am not going to sit here and say I NEVER have. I try to live for the LORD daily but I do fall. And I been judged, I think we all have one time or another.
